Decided to watch the Humanitarian Bowl this afternoon -- wanted to see Iupati in action. Bowling Green has a senior WR named Freddie Barnes (6' / 205) who has caught an NCAA Division II season record of 155 catches THIS SEASON -- 17 catches for 219 yards and 3 TDs in this bowl game. Admittedly this is not BCS calibur competition, but Idaho couldn't cover this guy with 3 defenders. By the way, he also returns kicks and has some QB experience (supposedly can throw pretty well).
Tried to check his ranking on McShay's WR list -- for whatever reason, he's not included in the top 100 WRs.
Given what I saw in THIS GAME, I'm more impressed with this guy than Ford at Clemson.
By the way, Iupati is a beast! He looks svelte at 330 pounds, if that's possible.
