I actually made that comment early on when they showed a montage of Favre shots. I was prepping for the Favre love-fest.

Although, I have to admit that my stomach is still churning after that loss. One drawback (if you want to call it that) to being in contention in December is that the losses hurt so much more. I’ve seen quite a few comments of “f this team” and “I don’t care anymore” and stuff like that. The problem for me is that even though they just kicked me in the junk it’s hard to move past it. I’m not ready for the offseason, even though clearly it’s closer after this game that it should be.

I hear ya my friend and concur

I would much rather be thinkng who we have to play in the wildcard than who we have to draft but I also believe in being able to move forward. Just making sure that you are ok.

Yeah

This hurts more than the Minnesota loss because it’s almost mathematically impossible for us to make the playoffs, even as a Wildcard.

Best we can hope for now is a winning season, which is still improvement.

And even though I predicted this at the beginning of the year it still hurts.

Yes Drew K, Tim Tebow will get picked in the first round.

If/When the Vikings win, I am going to be even more pissed off at the 9ers.

Also, Warner better keep his head on a swivel and watch out for J. Allen or the NFC West could still be interesting this season…

My very naive to a degree take on it

I think we need to look for another RB but not a new one. If we could get a speed/wiggle back to go along with Gore and Coffee that would be nice.

I don't care anymore.

Being an AZ native, I will root for AZ in the playoffs. Yeah, the Niners are not mathematically out, but they will NOT beat the Eagles which they would have to do to still be in it.

but don’t count them out on Philly,remember that Oakland beat them.I know it’s just hot air (or hot bytes) from both of us but let’s keep some faith though it’s hard at times. :-)

They can compete with anyone

But they can’t finish. After time to mature this upcoming offseason and Sing growing as a head coach, this team will be a true playoff contender next season. For now, they’re just pretenders.

I don’t give them much of a chance to beat Philly, especially in Philly. The 49ers have not won a road game since week 1 in Arizona.

Not true

Gore’s strength has always been waiting for his blockers. You’ve spent the last two months blaming Gore for following the play when he should have cut some place else and now you want to accuse him of the opposite.
