Niners Nation is all a Twitter
Ok a line like that deserves this. Folks around SB Nation have been setting up Twitter sites for some more instant updates, so I decided to join the party. The Niners Nation Twitter site is http://twitter.com/ninersnation. If you Twitter, feel free to follow the site. I've set the NN RSS feed to feed posts into it on an hourly basis. While checking back at the site is the best way to see what's new, Twitter provides a new option for keeping updated.
A plus to Twitter is the ability to throw out quick little updates. I'm thinking that as big news comes in I'll post a quick little note there and then post the more lengthy post at Niners Nation. I'm new to Twitter, so if there are Twitter veterans out there who have suggestions for how best to utilize it with Niners Nation, feel free to throw out a comment about it.

Simply by pulling on both ends, Patrick Willis can stretch diamonds back into coal
It’s basically yet another form of social networking. You can give updates of up to 140 words. Also, as I’ve done, if you’ve got a blog or website, you can set the RSS feeds so that your Twitter site will update with new posts. For purposes of NN, aside from the RSS feed I’ll probably throw out little thoughts about the 49ers on occasion that are too short to turn into a full page post…or if I just don’t want to discuss it in a full page post yet.

Twitter Feed
Go to TwitterFeed.com and follow the directions. It allows you to then add in RSS feeds to your Twitter page. Took me a while to figure out.
