Vikings sign Karl Paymah
This isn't exactly, earth-shattering news, but still notable. Karl Paymah had visited the 49ers earlier this week, but decided this wasn't the place for him. Paymah has come to terms on a one year contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
Hopefully the 49ers will just handle their business and re-sign Donald Strickland. While he's not a superstar, when it comes to depth, he's a very solid cornerback. For some other free agent cornerback options, check out the SB Nation free agency spreadsheet.

What are we offering these guys?
Isn’t this the 4th CB to come to town than go sign immediately elsewhere?
Not like any of guys have received a nice contract. What are we offering a stack of Subway coupons?

Strickland isn't a superstar now
but he is going to be so great, i’ve seen him a couple of times after the reciever catches it, he’s strong enough to knock it out of his hands, he’s fast enough and can cover well, im with him on sticking with us

I hope that he signs a multi-year contract wit us.

STRICKLAND IS WORTH IT !!!
TO EXPLAIN MYSELF ABOUT MY EARLIER POST,I’M FROM CT AND THERE AREN’T MANY NINER FANS ( I’M SURROUNDED BY GIANT,JETS,PATS AND DALLAS FANS ) SO I MUST GO HARD OR NOT AT ALL !!! But I like D. STRICKLAND, I agree he has a possibly big upside so i think he is worth the shot and should be resigned .

you should try and stay away
from the Caps Lock, it’s harder to read your comments when they are in all Caps. People here tend to not take these type of comments seriously.

Strickland-love
It’s amazing how many people like Strickland this offseason. I know it wasn’t just me last season that thought he was going to get cut in favor of youth. I still kind of feel that way, but that’s just me this season, apparently.

strickland
Maybe people are finally recognizing that he’s one of those un-sung type of guys. He isn’t always out there in the spotlight, but when a play needs to be made, it seems like he steps up.
