DeMaurice Smith is the new Executive Director of the NFLPA
DeMaurice Smith, attorney, has been elected as the new Executive Director of the NFL Players Association. He takes over for the late Gene Upshaw, and will have his hands full right off the bat, with the CBA expiring in one year, and an uncapped season imminent.
