Here is an interesting article posted on ESPN about a new scheduling rule that was passed today at the NFL Owners meeting.
No relief for West Coast teams heading east - ESPN.com
In short, East Coast teams (led by the Patriots) complained about having to travel all the way to the west coast twice each year to play road games. Apparently all the east coast teams agreed with the injustice and passed a resolution eliminating any eastern team from having to play
1) AFC West road games in Oakland and San Diego in the same season
2) NFC West road games San Francisco and Seattle in the same season
In light of this rule change, Jed York along with some of the other west coast franchises made a big stink about having play so many 10AM games when their teams travel to the east coast. The rest of the owners response, "play better football".
Which do you think is more of a burden?
West Coast Team traveling east and having to play at 10AM PT on Sunday
Or
East Coast Team traveling west and having to play at 4PM ET on Sunday
