We are informed by newspapers, the internet, and by radio, even by word of mouth.
Moves are being made everyday by various teams, in every sport.
The future is determined by how we sell ourselves, and the rebuilding process is not always pretty.
But, CAN WE TRUST the moves made by the teams, particularly the San Francisco 49ers?
No matter what decisions are made and who makes the roster, the management has to sell the idea in order to get a more lucrative public response.
What is left for us to do? We have to trust the Yorks. We have to trust McCloughan, the Niner General Manager. We have to trust Coach Sing.
The PLAYERS have to trust the schemes laid out for them by their Offensive Coordinators and Defensive Coordinators.
During the game, a player might say "What the hell? Why is this play being called? Why isn't my number called," that sort of thing.
It is all about TRUST.
The San Francisco 49ers are a National Football League team, one of the best franchises, with a winning tradition.
Because of our history, we expect the 49ers to pull a Kurt Warner, or hit it big with a Joe Montana clone.
But things are not happening the way we envision things to, because of the high expectations on the 49ers to recapture their winning ways.
That is where we need to TRUST the people that are making the chess moves in redefining the 49ers' roster. I hope Isaac Bruce has the trust to remain with the 49ers, because here is a star receiver that we need to have an influence over our young wide receivers barely tapping their potential. If he chooses not to stay with the 49ers, that will not be the end of the world.
It is all about trust, in the direction we are taking, the moves being made, the assembling of the 2009 roster, and..the upcoming 2009 NFL DRAFT!
Not only trust, but patience too. I have been a very loyal and patient fan over the years because I know that the 49ers remain one of the most classy organizations, with great business ethics, even a work ethic.
A Joe Montana comes around every decade.. Don't we know that? It is not as if Joe Montana look-alikes with the same DNA is going to come in and save the game, like SuperDeafy, who is out to save people.
If we trust in the direction the 49ers are taking, and they take us to the Super Bowl, we won't feel like those phony fans who cheer when things go well, and badmouth the 49ers when things aren't going well.
We will have an air of victory, because we stuck with the 49ers through thick and thin.
We will know who we are, a true 49er faithful and loyal fan.
All because of TRUST.
