Niners trade #10 pick for Cutler - Lame April Fool's Joke

I can't believe it happened so fast. i for one think it's a great move, as we get the franchise QB we need and we can put aside all the Mark Sanchez speculation. Now we can definitely set our sights in the draft on defense and depth on the line. This move makes us a contender for the NFC west and if the D comes together we could be a force in the playoffs.

In other news, April Fools day may have come about because of the switch from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar. Or it may have been when the king of France changed he first of the year from April 1 to January 1. This is a pretty stupid prank and I hope none of you fell for it, except of course HowTheyScored.

Released an article today, saying they were putting a trade together fro the 49ers, that includes our 1st and 3rd pick, this yar, our 2nd picj next year, and throwing in Alex Smith, and Mark Roman.

One time, my boss was being a total douche and made me trek out to his car to get the backup tapes he left out there. So after he handed me his keys, I walked out to his car, hopped in, and drove it to the far end of the parking lot, hiding it behind a big ol’ truck.

After work, I jumped into my car and moved it so I could watch his expression as he went searching for his now-missing vehicle. It was fun to watch him start to panick a little.

This is a great move! All the haters can suck it.

Cutler is a Pro Bowl quarterback and he instantly gives us a shot at getting back to the playoffs. I’m so pumped for 2009 now!

if you put a question mark at the end of that title and had people give their opinions on that move it would be a very interesting post, although this too was a very interesting and funny post, good job wjackalope lol

ps.. I’m not going to get into depth on Cutler with a fanpost after this one but i wonder what everyone thinks about the 49ers trading this years 1st round pick, Alex Smith and this years 5th round pick for Cutler? If the Broncos would accept that deal do any of you think it would be a good deal? =) thanks

I’m not going to get into details on trading chips just because speculation makes my brain cry, but I think a person would have to be certifiable not to want Cutler on their team. I think the Broncos are certifiable for putting him on the block. A team would be lucky to have him. It would be a ridiculously good stroke to land him.

Now, of course, that speaks neither to our chances of landing him nor the price it would cost. But simply the prospect of having him – that just has to be a resounding, “Hell yeah!”
