Divisional trade
The price may be coming down, but do the Cardinals really trade him within the division? The ESPN article mentions the Jets, Giants and Eagles.

+1
If I’m the Cardinals I’d trade Boldin to the Jets for a 2nd and 3rd round pick before I traded him to the Niners for a 1st round pick. I would just keep Boldin under his current contract before I traded him to the Niners.
Don't sweat it. I'm illiterate.

If he plays the same than I’ll take him too.

If It took just a 2nd rounder then Im sure a deal would be done. It has to be more then that, and the Niners must have some reason for staying out of a deal. I would love to get Boldin though.

Cards aren't that dumb
They aren’t going to be trading him within the division. If they were, I’d even consider a rd1 and rd4 as acceptable for Boldin. But still, nobody trades superstars within their division to teams starving at that position.
I just don’t see Boldin going anywhere. Kurt Warner would scream mutiny and call it a career without his whole cast returning. If they trade Boldin for a 2nd rounder, then someone over there should be fired.
Rays in '08.... Desmond Jennings - the breakout continues.....

Totally agree. Hey, if we could get Boldin for a second rounder, I’d jump all over it if I were the GM.
But if I’m the Cardinals, any division rival that asks about it, I’d probably still ask for at least a first rounder.
I'm thinking but nothing's happening.

hilarious/terrible
Boldin is definitely “hard-nosed”:

(it gets harder when there’s metal a plate in there)
(yeah, sorry, but I couldn’t resist)
Throwback unis? Yes. Throwback afros? YES!

Right on,
You got to wonder why so cheap for a great talent. What happen with that million Warner was suppose to give up. Did god say to keep it?

No team wants to give the draft picks and have to pay him a big contract on top. The 49ers should agree to kick in a few million just to get him out of the conference.

Yes
Big time 49er killer. I’ve seen us at least bottle up Fitzgerald for a few quarters. However, whenever AZ really needs a play they kill us with Boldin. We are not alone, he essentially is AZ running back and closer. They toss Boldin a 1-2 yard pass let him barrel forward for a 5-8 yard gain.

It seems th AZ has problems with players wanting to renegoiate their contracts.
or is something being promise behind back doors and then backing out?
