We've got another reported undrafted free agent signing, per KFFL. Given the nature of these signings, these entries might be a little less involved for now. The most recent signing is Kory Sheets, a running back out of Purdue (confirmed by Maiocco via agents). Given the position, I'd imagine Sheets ends up as no more than a practice squad player with the 49ers this year. Of course, some folks have major problems with Glen Coffee, so maybe people might prefer Sheets.
Here's a quick rundown of Sheets per the folks at Draft Countdown:
Strengths: Fast, quick and agile...Terrific acceleration with a burst...Patient with nice vision and instincts...Elusive and has some wiggle...Tough and runs hard...Excellent hands and a good receiver...Can contribute as a return man...Real competitive...A lot of experience...Very productive.
Weaknesses: Average size and bulk...Isn't very strong or powerful...Won't break a lot of tackles...Not a great blocker...Product of a spread offense...Poor work ethic...Durability's a big concern...Maturity has been questioned.
Over at NFL Draft Scout, ironically enough, he's ranked 1 spot lower than Glen Coffee. After the jump, we've got a highlight reel of Sheets.
