Shaun Hill VS. Alex Smith

I still have a feeling that the 49ers have some major problems at the quarterback position. I think even up to this point that they should make a run for Sanchez in the draft. That being said, and with everything pointing to Sanchez not going past seven, I have a feeling that Shaun Hill is not a good fit for Mike Singletary type run heavy offense.

I am going to give some credit for shaun because he has excellent game management. On the other hand, He is not very mobile and thats what raises the red flag with with Singletary offense. Shaun Hill is not a good fit due to arm strength.  I feel that with the Niners young wideout corps that they will have potential to strike deep after we pound the ball and catch them by suprise, that will totally take that out of the equaision and make the offense almost one demensional.

Now look at our other QB in Alex Smith. Granted, I am going to agree with all the critics and say that so far in his career, hes been a absolute bust. I am also going to say that he still has so much potential that we cant count him out yet. If you have looked at teams in the past, there have been Qb's in the past that were great working in one system and moving on to another team and being a huge bust. If he can fit into the system of the new cordinantor Raye He would definatly  be our guy.

The only question is "Is there a new alex in San Fran?" or will they stay with Hill, who is the game manager.
