I think

Sheets and Boone will make the final roster (Boone if he gets his act together, but he doesn’t have much competition to beat out)

I also think Egboh and Word-Daniels have decent shots though those positions are crowded.

I don’t know much about the others except ex-tar heel Khalif Mitchell who was kicked off our team. I think he got in a night club fight or something. He never particularly impressed me and I think he’s probably just camp fodder

Hey Brandon – don’t listen to these cats you were a beast at Michigan! I think you’ll kick some major tail… besides no one else has a good edge rush anyway! You’ll make it my brotha from another motha! LOL These guys are the “wizards of smarts!” That’s why they run a successful org like the SF 49ers!!! Hahaha

Mitchell

he looks like a really interesting prospect. The link below has a video of him in some practice sessions and he looks like a stud. Of course the scouting report that’s right above it suggests that he is a ‘boom or bust type’ with crazy physical tools who hasn’t lived up to them.

Also he went to UNC for his 1st 2 years sooo…Go Heels!

Really? I'll wait until we hear how they're doing on the practice field.

I voted Diyral Biggs simply because his name is interesting and there’s a lot of open competition for backup LB’s.

Hmm.

I think Sheets and Briggs are the best bets to earn a roster spot. MAYBE Egboh, if he shows he can be of use as a rushing end on third downs (much like Rod Green was used in previous years).

I highly doubt any of the CBs make it, as the 49ers have loads of DBs. The likes of Hudson and Smith will get shots at CB on the final roster before any of these UDFA’s do.
