Hello readers. I want to join in on encouraging the Niners to draft Sanchez at #10 if he is available. I don't understand the support that Shaun Hill has. He is a game manager and a stop-gap back up. As much as we want to emphasize the run game, we need a quarterback who will win us the game in those tight, last minute close games. This is especially critical in the playoffs. This Sanchez guy seems to have the confidence, the drive, the guts, and the will to make such plays. I would hate to pass on a guy like this and have him flourish on another team while we watch Shaun Hill start to break down. There are no other players at the #10 spot that is worth grabbing that has the upside of Sanchez. All the pass rushers will take time to learn coverage as a 3-4 OLB just like Lawson. (Who is still working on it) And none of the truly great tackles will be there at #10. Plus we just signed Smith and still have SIms and Snyder right now. I hope McCloughan and Singletary has the eye to grade Sanchez correctly and draft him at #10.
