Ode to Joe Nedney: I am speechless

I have to give a huge tip of the cap to drummer for finding this on YouTube.  It might be the funniest most disturbing video ever.  I should have expected great things after reading the little info section on the YouTube page:

The dictionary defines a hero as "..., a man, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods."

When a hero leaves our town, he doesn't leave our hearts. Here's my tribute to the exodus of a hero.

If this isn't a sufficient reason to own a Joe Nedney jersey, well, I don't know what is.

Titans fan

The song was written by a Titans fan. Nedney spent 3 seasons there before coming to the 49ers.

I remember Nedney

with the big flop against the Steelers in the playoffs. He missed the initial field goal, but flopped so convincingly, the refs flagged the Steelers, and Nedney booted the game winner.

When Nedney came to San Francisco, I was pumped. This guy has been the clutchest kicker we’ve had in a while. He’s won a few games for us in the dark moments, and anytime he misses a big field goal, he usually makes one later to save the day. We have been spoiled, but we have deserved it.

We have a pretty darn good FG kicker and an excellent punter. It’s been great not having to worry about your team giving a game away because of poor execution on special teams. We suffered long enough, and I guess we deserved it, because we let Jeff Wilkins walk so easily. But suffering through Owen Pochman is epic fail bad.

"I'll be honest with you, I love his music, I do, I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman"

when he was on the Cowboys, Larry Allen almost swallowed Cortez when Cortez missed an extra point. tough to believe Cortez could miss an extra point, huh? lol

I think I might take Cortez

over Chandler

but mostly cause we spent a 4th rounder on Chandler

Gayest video ever....

That guy put his picture on chick’s bodies….WTF?

Joe Nedney is a hell of a kicker but this video is wack.

are you serious?!

This was so unbelievably incredibly awesome.
So awesome I might have incredibly awesome nightmares about this creepy fool’s photoshopped head popping up everywhere.
This definitely puts the special in special teams.

There should be an Andy Lee video that is twice as good as this, but I just cant even imagine how mind-blowing it would have to be.
Shoutout to Bill LaFleur, the best worst punter I have ever seen.

Good intentions

But why put a picture of a guy’s jock?

The first minute or so was pretty down but it just got waaaay too gay after…

I have a feeling...

Chickmagnet is my cousin Jarrod.
I could see him saying something like this.
If I’m right I’m going to be pumped.

Jarrod, it’s Patrick, is that you?
haha

No

I just don’t like seeing another guy’s jock….

Like I said though, good intentions.

I haven't seen Nedney miss, not once

Nedney is a bad man. And the the video was funny, in my opinion.

synchronized swimming was a good one for some reason and the Chips one was pretty good, John freaking Baker, that’s already a classic in my mind.

Nedney misses

are usually made up for later. Like the Seattle game last year, Nedney missed at the end of regulation, but booted the GW in OT.

I found that...

On FootballGuys Free for All forum. FBG is a great Fantasy Football site, and great for football in general.

Here is where you can find more, and I suggest to check out the forums and other stuff there as well (they even have a thread on fan blogs in The Shark Pool forum, and one guy recommended SBNation).

Well, we're waiting....

that was... bizarre

But I’d be sad if Nedney left also. If i had any musical talent I’d make an Andy Lee tribute song/video.

Still defending Rich Aurilia, and the Niners' classic unis

"The Sixth Sense" and" Signs"...

were much better examples of his work.

I think the 49ers...

Should play the last chorus of this when Nedney gets ready to kick.

Everybody in the stands can shout “KICK ME NEDNEY!!!..”

That would be awesome.

Well, we're waiting....
