Walt Harris Sustains Torn ACL; Likely Out for Season
Kinda "funny" how that poll on who would start at CB w/ Clements just came up today with the whole Cornerback look-ahead... =(
So much for that sprain.
FOOCH'S NOTE: I closed the comments here so we could focus it over on the front page here. Thanks to Swift Kick in the Goc for getting this up initially.

D'Oh!
Well, now we’ll have to look at some vets on the market. Or atleast commit to Reggie as a CB.

Wow
That sucks, thats why I hate hearing the term sprained knee, because it usually turns into something worse. I hope we can go out and get somebody

Time for Brown to step up.
While I would have liked to have Harris healthy for the season, he is 34 and in the last year of his contract. He wasn’t going to be the future of the team. Time for Brown to step up and prove he can play at this level. I’ve always felt the 49ers got a steal when they were able to draft him in the 5th round. He was another one of these guys who’s off field issues caused his draft stock to drop, which alowed the 49ers to get a 2nd round talent on the cheep (See also Morgan).

Williams
Do you think they will resign Williams now? I know we just cut him recently and I hear he needs to get in shape!
