Why Michael Crabtree Was Whiffed on By the Oakland Raiders
Yet another Oakland Raider fan bashing Michael Crabtree. This is starting to piss me off.

pretty funny
its ridiculous—its pretty funny actually. they’re really rationalizing the pick. in reality, even if they didn’t want crabtree, there were tons of better players available—not to mention better WRs (other than crabtree) than heyward-bey available to them.
whatever, let them talk. hopefully we’ll benefit…

The person forgot to state that
when Crabtree was asked about possibly going to the Raiders he said “No comment”

Am I wrong?
Didn’t Crabtree wear a silver and black suit to the draft? I thought he fully expected to get drafted by Oakland and was surprised when it didn’t happen.

a sigh of relief
was heard from Crab’s table, apparently, when they passed him.
I can’t remember what suit he was wearing (Crab will though), but I remember him looking sharp in a red and gold suit shortly after at the team’s facilities.

Here's the video
I think you’re right about the suit.

…and was surprised when it didn’t happen.
And this video shows his silver and black vest.

Overall
poor article. I read it, and the guy writing it is obviously a homer. I don’t care how many passes were thrown in the Tech offense. Crab still beat double and triple teams on every play. Call it soft Big 12 defense, but two/three on one is still tough to beat. DHB, how many times did he beat double and triple coverage? And how frequently?
Crab faced it everytime he was on the field.
Overall I give that article a giant fart sound.

Agree with the fart sound
But it’s the way they rationalize Al’s mistake by talking trash about Crabs-putting down Crabrtee to prop up H-Bey. It’s trailer trash bullshit.
I admit, it’s starting to get under my skin.

Raider fan posts and comments..
Considering the Raider fans, can’t do better than that, it should make you LOL!
It made me laugh with every unrealistic excuse.

Bleacher Report
It’s a Bleacher Report article so you’ve got to take it with a grain of salt in terms of quality of writing.

Not the worst Raider Anti-Crabtree article I've read
Really, I didn’t find that awful at all.

Do you mind editing the s-bomb out of there? Simply out of respect to the website’s casual decorum standards, not because anybody is necessarily personally or actively offended.
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

This guy acts like Crabtree will be getting a larger paycheck than DHB.
The cake is a lie.

It's likely...
… he will.
What I find absolutely hilarious is that the writer complains about Crabtree thinking he already deserves the money, but seems to forget that 7th overall picks tend to make more than 10th overall picks. And no matter if the player believes he deserves that money, he’s still getting it.

stats
My favorite part is how he pro-rates DHB’s stats from the Maryland offense into the Texas Tech offense. Great research there.
