Golden Nuggets: Must've Missed That One..
You know, I didn't realize until just now that I didn't do the Nuggets yesterday. For some reason, I just felt like I'd done them, and moved on with my day yesterday. So to start off, sorry about that. But anyway, good morning folks, I'm here THIS TIME with your Nuggets for the day. I don't have a ton in the way of links today, even with me having missed a day which means yesterday would've been scarce anyway. Long story short, at least I have a bit of links so no complaining! Either way, here's what I've got for you today (in a slight hurry.)
Hah, what a way to start. I wonder what the actual things are "linking" the 49ers to Peppers? (RealFootball365.com)
49ers rookies arrive, bringing along with them some personal baggage. (SFGate.com)
Crabtree is one of the highest selling jerseys so far! Wooh! (ProFootballTalk.com)
A second look at Crabtree.. and my God, what the [site decorum] is hapening with Lynch's grammar and sentence structure? Its utterly atrocious. (SFGate.com)
So, Jimmy Williams, anybody? Anyone liking him? I have no idea what I think about him yet. (49ers.com)
Some more about that guy, a Q&A, even. (SacBee.com)
So why exactly hasn't Alex Smith produced? ...Well? (PressDemocrat.com)
We're expecting Lawson and Haralson to get the job done rushing the passer... I wonder what will happen? I'm confident in Lawson, I mean, he should've been a rusher to begin with but Nolan never really sent him in did he? (SacBee.com)

Has my vote for starting FS right now. I love that signing.
Thing A
agreed
for some reason i have a soft spot for high round pick guys with physical skills and little production (see smith, alex)
signing this guy was very low risk and potentially high reward. i hope he can show something in camp.

From the moment
We traded the 2nd Rd pick and Carolina picked a DE, my thought was Peppers…

Since that point the conversation FOR Peppers has increased and my own desire to bring him in has decreased. I’d much prefer to bring in Lee Suggs. He’s younger, more familiar with the 3-4 and is already an incredible OLB- rather than Peppers who will have to adjust to the stand-up roll. Both are franchised and will cost us relatively the same thing.
Another note- Kevin Lynch: “Crabby?” c’mon man, is that his nickname and I just ain’t heard it until now?
I think you mean terrell suggs
lee suggs was a Rb, he’s been out of football for a couple years I think

He's familar with the 3-4 too
As in getting tackled for 2 yard gain against the Ravens and Steelers 3-4 defense.
