OT: A Poem about the Draft
I would like to share a poem that my roommate wrote about the draft, I hope you all enjoy.
Chillin' in the Kiper cave, hangin' from the roof
watchin' college and the NFL, grindin' on his tooths
Before Bradford say a bad word, decision has no explanation
only hear from him once a year on the Entertainment Sports Nation
Don't make me laugh
the NFL draft
as told by Mel Kiper Jr.
if you want someone down
in the seventh round
Al Davis will pick him sooner
Changin' in the locker room, walking to your car
Kiper Jr. is watching you, he can't be very far
Todd McShay is right behind, he'll soon be just like Mel
if you make a bad pick or don't act quick for a player, they'll give you hell
Don't make me laugh
the NFL draft
as told by Mel Kiper Jr.
if you want someone down
in the seventh round
Al Davis will pick him sooner
For the rest of the year, Stuart Scott keeps him locked up in a cage
it's hard to hide from BOTH Scott's eyes and hence avoid his rage
Mel has no hair, just fins on his head, for Mel is from the sea
he crawled from the mire, gaze full of ire, and said the draft must be on TV
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.
