Golden Nuggets: National Anthem tryouts anybody?

What might qualify as the most interesting link might be at the bottom. The 49ers are hosting National Anthem auditions in July. Applications are due by June 29. I'm not sure if any of you are singers (I sure am not), but it'd be pretty cool if one of you was out there singing the anthem on game day.

What really bothers me is this...

“So far the passing game has looked a lot better than the running game." I hope this improve in training camp

Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Smith to be super so soon.

I don't get it.

I don’t see how someone can make that kind of a conclusion about the running game when their strength (power) can’t be displayed without contact and pads.

Anthem

My sister sang the anthem two years in a row. I got to go on the field with her before the game and meet some players, sit on the bench, watch the game from the press box, etc. It was amazing but she can’t do it since she has already done it twice
