I think it's always interesting to see the offspring of professional athletes going on to succeed in sports. Bubba Paris' daughter Courtney was an absolute beast at Oklahoma and is now starting her career in the WNBA. Best of luck to Paris.

someone needs to start a "Vote William Kennedy Out of Office" Campaign

"I would have no problem putting money into a stadium if I saw our results came back that it would yield more money at the end of the day." Kennedy said he’s done the math. After adding everything up, evaluating increased taxes and revenues, it was a negative number for the city. "There are a lot of discussions about the pros and cons but at some point you have to add it all up and compare the two," Kennedy said.

Do you realize, Mr. Kennedy, how much business putting a brand new stadium for one of the greatest teams in the NFL in your city is going to bring you over the next 10, 20, oh say 50-60 years? Heck, I looking for a place to settle in California right now – thinking long term, Santa Clara suddenly sounds like a really attractive place to live. Keep talking like that, and your political career in California is over.
