Jeremy Newberry Retires
According to ProFootballTalk.com, and their verified sources, Jeremy Newberry calls it a career, due to long-standing knee problems. If not for injuries, this man could have been the best center in 49ers history. I played center in high school, and as such was a huge fan once I got a few looks at him in-action. I'm gonna miss this guy...

Definitely one of my favorite 49ers
It’s definitely disappointing that he has to retire. I was a big fan. And I agree that if healthy he might have gone down as the best center in franchise history…Even possibly over Sapolu

I played center in high school
I played center in high school too. All-City my senior year. Its all I have to brag about in terms of accolades in football.
