Candlestick Seating Preferences
Candlestick Veterans,
I'm cruising around cyberspace looking for tickets to the Dec. 14th game and I have an issue. My brother and I are obviously 49ers fans. We are meeting some friends of ours, who are Cardinals fans, in SF for the game. My 'Cardinals' friends have had the luxury of spoiling us when we visit U. of Phoenix Stadium to watch our friendly rivalry go down- in a stadium where, aside from great seating, you can find me watching the game live (and on tv) while standing in a short line to get a beer. I know that probably isn't possible in Candlestick however I'm looking for advice about the best sections to watch the game from to make it a great experience for all of us. Advice on the worst sections is appreciated too- so I can avoid them when narrowing down my choices. Thanks everyone! Go Niners!!!!

Personally....
I’ve sat in the lower east sections several times, about 40 rows up, i think that these are great, not too close not too far. Also upper box 22,24,26 are really good. If you’re going to sit in the upper reserve, i would try to get some where i have a good view of the jumbotron. My worst seats have upper reserve 63, no jumbotron, even when the plays were coming our way, they were still pretty far. Hope this helps you out a little…..

Anywhere but...
the endzone. Nothing is worse than watching live professional football without depth perception; I believe this is a game of inches!

I prefer the upper deack at about the 50 yard line. You can see the entire field and watch plays develop.

Trip...
I’ll be there with one of my AZ buddy’s too. I’m always in AZ for SF game too and will be this year as well. Let me know if you do a little tail gating. We usually bring a BP table may be a little cold in SF, but will have one in AZ.
