Golden Nuggets: Patrick Willis enters MMA
So I don't know where the Nuggets are this morning, and I'm sure as hell not the one to be looking all over the internet for every 49ers tidbit, BUT I found this article on ProFootballTalk that should make every RB in the NFL poop a little bit of of fear.
To keep it short, Bamm Bamm has been training with Randy Couture of UFC fame in Mixed Martial Arts combat in an effort to improve his football skills, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports. Willis lost no weight (entered and exited the program at 238 lbs), but apparently "lost two belt notches in his midsection".
The man was already a killer, now he spent a month training to kill people? Now we need a sick MMA moniker for him, such as Patrick "The Harbinger of Death" Willis...?
Post any other terrifying links you may find here, along with any other scary-ass nicknames for Patrick "Your Nightmare" Willis.

Should work out better than that clown Matt Leinart at least...

When I first saw
Leinart training in the MMA fashion, I was fascinated. A QB training with an MMA regime? What a great idea.
Now Patrick Willis has joined the trend? As long as he doesn’t try to piledrive someone ala Kevin Greene… wait Greene dabbled in pro wrestling nevermind.
PFT had the line of the century at the end:
Willis likely will gain some of that weight back when he devours Steven Jackson.

Jared Allen has been using MMA training for a few years. The training to improve hip shooting skills in MMA translate very well to football.

They had a video of Leinart training.
Are they going to put a video of Willis training?

"Harbinger of Death"
Really?
Actually, all of the nicknames people have brought up so far are pretty weak. Big ups to methodrampage, that reply was mad funny.
50duece doesn’t need a nickname. The man is raw. He doesn’t play middle linebacker, he plays middle back cracker. That’s how raw he is. Leave the nicknames out. They’re corny.

I’m sticking with the one Chad Johnson gave him two years ago, Bamm Bamm.

Holy Crap!
P. Willy was an option?! WTH. That has got to be one of the worst nicknames I’ve ever heard. I’m with you 49erLou. Give that name a gold watch and let it drift off into the sunset.

Werd
Nicknames should be given by folks in the game; coaches, active players, teammates or otherwise.
