He disses Montana but doesn’t know enough about him or his own team to even make a point.

The weapon debate against Montana is so misunderstood

I’m not going to deny the 49ers had great players during his era but Montana was always the best player in a 49er uniform. Oh, Montana isn’t that great because he had all those weapons around him that helped him win. Except whenever Montana was out the 49ers struggled to win. The 49ers struggled to win even with Montana at times. How many games during his career did he bring the team back to win in the 4th after a miserable team performance . . . often.

Whenever I hear that argument I know they don’t know that Montana was hurt quit a bit during his career and he single handily saved the 49ers backside a couple games each season (at least one key game too). Without Montana I somewhat believe the 49ers would have struggled to win one Superbowl let alone four.

Oh, and Bronco fans always want to pretend the 80’s teams around Elway were absent of talent. No, they had plenty of talent. . . . I watched their games often In fact, if they would have cashed one of those SB trips in a few of those players might have received serious HOF consideration.
