No word on how many of them went. Interesting nonetheless.

of course...
when he says “church,” he means the stripbar, and when he says “sweats,” he means the crotchless ones.
and up rode a camargue horse named Victory, upon the magnificent beast sat a triumphant rider, that rider's name: Noodle Arm.

Is there a rule somewhere that atheletes must write in terrible grammer on Twitter?

grammar on twitter
there’s only a limited amount of characters, so often times people have to cut out vowels, and shorten words up to get their point across.
other times, you can’t blame the 140 character limit (or whatever it is)

This is why Twitter is an atrocious website and it's criminal that it's been pushed so much by the media as the new 'thing'.

On the NN twitter page I pretty much just use it as a glorified RSS feed of sorts, with the occasional extra Tweet.
However, I think there is some value in Twitter, even thought it’s probably not the be-all-end-all of new media. For example, over the weekend Barrows and Maiocco were covering practices but could not post anything to their respective blogs until practice was done and they could go through their notes. However, during practice, they could tweet from their phones and provide little mini-updates. Nothing super-substantial, but useful if you’re impatient for information.
