Looks like Maybin signed
The NFL 2009 1st draft pick signing status page was updated with Maybin having a 5 year deal, no info on contract details. So then there were two. Hopefully this speeds up Smith and in turn Crabtree, as I assume he will be the last to sign.

My First Impression was
great. This should help move Crabtree along since they were drafted next to each other. On second thought though, Crabby isn’t going to care. He is focused on the guys drafted ahead of him and how much they got not how much the guy drafted behind him got. Ultimately, Smith’s deal is more likely to have an impact on getting Crabby’s deal done than Maybin’s, in my opinion.

Smith
I think Smith’s deal is going to be contingent on what Crabtree gets. IF both are arguing that they should have been taken higher, Crabtree, I think, has more leverage.
The signing of Maybin just solidifies the 49ers position further. It’s just a matter of time before Crabtree signs for what the 49ers offer(ed) him.
How could either of these guys claim they should have been taken higher?
I understand that they are making that claim but really? Smith is a monster… a monster head case who is lucky he didn’t plummet to the late teens. Crabtree couldn’t run a 40 yard dash and even if he could have it would have done nothing but hurt his draft stock because he just isn’t that fast. I’m not trying to argue with you, just making a point. Smith at least is asking for what the guy taken behind him (Heyward-Bay) got, Crabtree is just delirious and doing nothing but hurting himself and making fans like myself despise his very existence.
Rookie receivers are seldom impact players. Rookie receivers who don’t take a snap in OTAs or pre-season are a complete waste of money and time. If I’m Jed York and Co. I send a new lower dollar contract to Crabtree’s agent every day until he understands that this is a business and anyone who thinks they can go back into the draft next year lacks the mental make-up to empty port-o-potties for living let alone play in the NFL. Get into camp Crabass before you become completely irrelevant.
"Or, as Randy Jackson would say: Not feelin’ it, dawg."

I don't disagree...
… about Crabtree just hurting himself more than anything.
I also wasn’t thinking when I wrote that they may BOTH be arguing they should have been drafted higher. Smith apparently is just wanting what’s “fair value” compared to what the guys before and after him got, which is more than his team is offering him. Crabtree’s demands are absolutely ludicrous, but he’s in his right to demand it. He just hurts himself going down that road.
Re Smith
I agree with what you said about Maybin’s signing, but I don’t think Smith’s problem is Crabtree. His problem is DHB’s contract is so big he wants something bigger and Cincy isn’t willing to pay that. Crabtree’s deal may have some effect on Smith’s deal but not nearly as much as Smith’s will have on Crabby’s. Right now the Niners can argue that DHB’s contract is an aberation out of step with the slotting system. If Smith gets more than DHB that argument is gone.

I should have said
“Smith’s deal but not nearly as much as Smith’s could have on Crabby’s”

5 years
25 million, no guarentees listed yet. we really need a rookie cap… crabtree will be making almost nearly as much as ..larry fitz, roddy white, andre johnson..more then anquan..and people as such…crazyness
15 million guaranteed
This brackets Crabtree nicely:
9. B.J. Raji – 5 years, $28.5 million ($18M guaranteed)
10. Michael Crabtree – 5 years, $27 million ($16.5 guaranteed)
11. Aaron Maybin – 5 years, $25 million ($15M guaranteed)
I think that’s fair money
