Advice for going to a game? Help!
So I never go to Niners games because I don't want to spend all that money for crappy seats when you can see better on TV - but... I came up on some free tickets for this Sunday's game so I need some advice. I'll be coming from Berkeley. What's the best way to get to the game? I assume driving. What's the best place to park and how much does it cost? Any tips for saving money? What is the best food at the stadium?
Thanks and GO NINERS!!!!!!!

How about..
BART to Downtown, take the 3rd ST rail or find a Muni that goes directly to the game. Driving might be a pain.
This is assuming you’re not bringing kids along, and plan to tailgate. Even so, you can hang at other tailgates.
Well, we're waiting....

I don't think any trains go to the stadium
but there are Muni buses. It looks like there is an express bus from Balboa Park Bart directly to the stick. Anybody ever done that?

It sucks and costs 8$ (as of last year)
But it is far better than driving.
The cake is a lie.

I usually ride a bus up from the penninsula when I go to the stick. They are very convenient and usually cheaper than driving and parking. Traffic getting out after the game is generally horrendous and the buses get priority getting out.
Waiting for Giants and Niners to contend once more.

a friend of mine got them and can't go so he offered them to me
he got them from someday at his work – they were putting together an auction and got these tickets somehow, but the auction is on Sunday, and so is the game, so they can’t use the tickets. So they just gave them to my friend.

ok so
I just found out I have a parking pass! yay, free parking! Now I can tailgate. I will be sitting in Section 49 (upper reserved) row 20, so – pretty far away. It’s all good though. Anybody else planning on being at the game? Maybe I’ll do some tailgating.

I'll be there
With 20 other guys and girls, we’re in lower reserve section 20 row 15. 20 yard line, niners side.
