Where is Eddie D?
and his mob buddies. Offer him the current contract he is offered, if he says no, come back with an offer of half of the original, how to get him to pay? Put a gun to his head, assure him that either his brains or his signature will be on the contract!
Sorry watching Bugsy right now.
Quote of the year "I want to wear a Dwight Clark jersey to the new cowboy stadium."
Good to get an insider's perspective.
Though, it really just reiterates what everyone else has been saying: the 49ers are doing what just about anyone else of sound mind would do in the same situation.
My pessimism goes to the point of suspecting the sincerity of the pessimists.
I just
want him to sign already so all this is done, and to get his jersey. Im hoping next week after sundays game
I can't see myself buying a crabree jersey.
At least not for a LONG time, he has a lot to prove after this debacle.
The cake is a lie.

This.
After these shenanigans, he’s going to have to earn my respect as a fan.

when are they going to talk
great article, however when, then are the two sides going to sit down and hash this thing out? From my interpretation of media reports, there has been no negotiations for weeks. If they are closer that it appears, what are they waiting for. I want this guy (Crabtree) to sign, play and be a success with the 49ers, but the longer this goes on, the more I am disliking the dude….
Just venturing a guess...
But I think both sides have pretty much solidified their position. There is no need to meet regularly just to have the same conversation. Typically a team wouldn’t want to propose what Jed York has with a meeting, but in this case it doesn’t matter because the Crabtree camp really has no leverage.

Yorks Stupidity Shines Through
Why didn’t Jeb Clampett sit down with Parker and Crabtree a month ago?? Now he wants to talk with them after the season has started?? Gee and we wonder why we have lost six years in a row with no end in sight..
Idiot Yorks strike again..A very common practice..
Did you even read the article?
My pessimism goes to the point of suspecting the sincerity of the pessimists.
This guy is just negative...
He pulls the same shit on the Sharks blog. Just ignore him.

I dunno
It would make sense if anything about this contract negotiation followed logic or practical sense. Several reports have stated that Crabtree and his agent have yet to even approach the negotiation table to find a contract.
