49ers 10 - Seahawks 3: Second thread

Th_seahawks_icon_medium @ 49ers_logo_medium

The 49ers just forced a big three and out deep in Seahawks territory and are looking to put up some more points before the end of the half.  The defense has stepped up big time containing the Seahawks offensive attack.  On offense, Frank Gore had his huge TD run and is having a solid half, but other than that the offense is struggling again.  As I'm typing this Moran Norris just ran for 14 yards and a first down on a nice little change of pace play.

UPDATE: Apparently Seahawks LT Sean Locklear is out of the game right now with an ankle injury.  Also, Lofa Tatupu has remained out and his return is questionable.

GO NINERS!

I guess “slightly less horrific than last week” is still an improvement in the play calling? The big difference is that the run is working, though.

Wow

Never felt like with a lead at the half that the Niners crapped in their own hat! The 2nd Quarter could not have gone worse for them. Sloppy play by the offense and soft play by the defense against a backup offensive line. No pressure at ALL on the QB. This is not looking too good. Very conservative on both sides of the ball. I sure hope we take the 2nd half kickoff and score a td, because Seattle looks like they want to win the game more than the Niners do at this point.

Another year, another chance to hope for the team !!

Manny's mental error on that TD.

Manny was out of position on that TD pass to J. Jones. I think Sing is talking to him about that.

Will Hasselbeck return? Wow, that Tatupu, Locklear, and now maybe Hasselbeck. Very physical game. Could pay dividends in the 4th quarter.

Manny Lawson

Makes TOO MANY ERRORS! The Defense went soft the whole 2nd HALF! WTF?? Conservative on offense and soft on Defense! Ever since that reverse on the kickoff, the Niners look like they have lost the momentum.
