49ers 20 - Seahawks 10: Finish them thread

The 49ers have a 20-10 lead thanks to Frank Gore's big runs.  And yet, a poor passing attack has allowed the Seahawks to stay in this game.  Shaun Hill is 9 of 14 for a robust 73 yards.  Considering Frank Gore won't be rushing for 200+ yards every week (see week 1), Hill is definitely going to need to show some improvement if this team is going to make anything happen long term this season.  Of course in this game, the Seahawks continue to be decimated by injuries.  It seems like they're losing players every other series.  Bad luck or something with the trainers?

And Dashon Goldson with the interception as we're about to post this new thread!

GO NINERS!

Well

I don’t comment during the game because i am too interested in watching it. But now that it’s over and we are 2-0. We dominated this game in every way. Now the offensive line must protect Hill better. Now that we established the run our offense looked more fluid. And the DEFENSE. well really? Clements, McDonald, Goldsen and Smith stood out and they dominated the Seahawks offense. We were the better team and it showed in every single way. The ability to hold onto the ball and pretty much put the game away showed to me this team’s killer instinct. 2-0 in the division against our two top rivals for the division. Can’t do any better then that.

I just don'y know what to say !!

They are playing the game so conservative! Especially with the Seahags Backup QB in the game, they didn’t blitz even once! It worked out in the end, but sure made for some unnecessary drama near the end! Raye has got to open up his offense more. Running 3 times into the line and then punting is putting TOO MUCH pressure on the defense to win the game! Oh well, 2 – 0 is hard to argue !!

Another year, another chance to hope for the team !!
