Well, this put a smile back on my face
comedy, nature’s greatest healer
I knew this niners team
would do this to me. I knew they would make me love them and break my heart. This is game we needed to really have a great season.

i dont know what to do with myself
does anyone else feel like this? i really dont know what to do. ugh i feel so shitty
Great game even though we lost. It hurts, but I know we’ll rebound – I think we’re better for it. Fire Jimmy Raye.
how can you rebound frmo that?
if anything, that will kill our season

Nah, Singletary will keep them going forwards
This is the first time in a long time I’ve had confidence that a loss wouldn’t crush the team
I hate to say it, but this shit was inevitable.
You can’t let the defense carry you all the time and expect to get away with it.
0-11 on 3rd downs is abysmal. There’s no excuse for that. Pa-fucking-thetic.
My pessimism goes to the point of suspecting the sincerity of the pessimists.
Wow.
As a Vikings fan, I almost feel bad for winning that way. Almost.

Don't make excuses.
We lost that game. Us. No one else.

i know we lost the game
but im damn sure gonna defend the game when a viking troll comes over after everyone is obviously pissed as fuck
we lost the game because we could getafirst down when we needed to
It was Johnny Hopkins, and Sloan Kettering, and they were blazin that s*** up everyday.

Agree. We needed a first down to win the game, and his offense failed when it counted the most.

What was that about "Finishing", Sing?
You finish by giving the ball back with enough time to win? And then use a Prevent defense?
it's just our first loss and it wasnt ugly either
we’ll rebound and get stronger with gore back
pretty simple reason for losing the game...
mark roman….that ball was in the air for fucking 15 minutes, and he’s not even playing the ball…watch him leave the spot where the ball was caught because he had an “oh shit” moment as he saw the WR coming across the back of the endzone…if he just stays home, the ball comes right to him…
0 turnovers created in 2 years for roman…when you have a ball skills-dependent play decide a game, you don’t want that piece of shit to be the guy in the middle of it
by (Florida) Danny Tuccitto on Sep 27, 2009 1:23 PM PDT reply actions
exactly...
he had deep corner, goldson had deep middle…goldson released the WR to roman, and roman ran towards the middle raher than staying home…ball goes to where he was and he’s totally unprepared to make an easy play on the ball

More than that
He was in zone so he’s watching the QB as well. Credit the WR tho I’m not convinced his foot wasn’t on the white line. Our inability to put a punt inside the 20 at the end and allowing a KO-TD have more to do with why we lost.
You gotta bring ass to get ass.
Yeah, and he fell down on an earlier reception, too.
But there were enough mistakes by players and coaches to have lost it plenty of other times, too. Pretty sloppy game.
i think it's not often...
that a game so clearly comes down to one play at the end of the game…just logically, if roman makes that play, the 49ers win despite all the shit they did poorly prior…so those prior things couldn’t have caused the loss because, if not for roman’s fuck up, all those things don’t matter

Gonna be close like that all year on the road folks
And this one sucks. Always comes down to the little things. Hard to win when you allow a KO-TD. Then the WR was maybe in bounds by what, an inch? Plus If Bly holds on to the INT the previous stand we win 31-20. Or if Lee can put the punt inside the 20 instead of the end zone. We’re that close which means we’re better than most people think.
You gotta bring ass to get ass.

Game ended Ina tie refs gave them 3 points
49er 'til I die! (if they don't kill me first)
Mark roman
Once I saw him in coverage I knew it was game over. You take a guy who lost his starting job because he was too slow and wasn’t a playmaker and put him in….. when the game’s on the line!?
FIRE JIMMY RAYE
Our play calling has been awful the first three weeks. HOW THE HELL do you run up the middle and five Favre the ball back with 1:30 left hes the king of the two minute drill. WHAT IS RAYE THINKING?!?!?! Way to blow it your worthless piece.
That was Favre magic. The D was probably exhausted after going back on the field 10 times after 3 and outs all day. Fire Raye.

3 and outs
How many fucking 3 and outs did we have today?? and on the crucial drive we go 3 and out again.
PATHETIC OFFENSE
I was screaming for a screen on the last drive we had. But no, lets run the same play over and over and over.
I blame Jimmy Raye for this loss
