So I was wondering what has happened in and around the league over the last two months because I have not been able to have media contact in over two months because I was working at a camp that has little internet access

so I would just like to know what's been going on around the N F L, I don't care if it's 49ers news or Chiefs news, it's all news to me

Without going into an extensive discussion of dirty 19th century politics...

Because he was made vice president to appease the patronage guys in New York who were his friends and the guys who gave him power, then after Garfield died and Arthur became president, he turned around and became the champion of reforms that severely curbed the power of the big guys in the patronage system. It was basically a big integrity-filled “Go screw yourself” (stupid no swearing rule)

I find that fantastic.
