And just like that - they were gone (by which I mean our top three seeds).

In the week's first game, YoungWillis marched into PepsiCo. ro128487 Field under a shroud of controversy. The images of him using a marijuana bong that had surfaced on the Internet over the previous week should have been a distraction. The media criticism was intense. The public backlash was surprisingly harsh. Through it all, though, his sponsors stuck by him - and they were right to stand by their man. Come game time, the only thing he was high on was competition, as he stomped a rested - but still sleepy - ro128487 to move onto the semifinals. As a 12 seed, this kind of run was next to impossible, but having knocked off the top seed it appears that the worst is behind him. Will he make it to the finals, or will the media blitz finally tear down his defenses?

In the second game, fans were "treated" to another bonbrillio special. After sleepwalking through a victory the week before, the pundits all agreed that bonbrillio would have to make a better effort this week to get past 4 seed leaping_larry. Larry had been nothing but strong in the regular season, but the bonbrillio daze appeared contagious as these two teams fell all over themselves up and down the field. By the end of regulation, the score was actually tied, but after one period of overtime bonbrillio's luck finally ran out. Sorry man. Reporting your victory was one massive moment of FAIL on my part - on par with "Dewey Defeats Truman". And one big tease.

Again, though, across the country fans were actually treated to a real game. As bonbrillio fell into another victory, cassusriff and gbears16 duked it out one of the biggest stages in the game. Taking Saints and Colts victories down to narrow raw score point breaks, cassusriff gained a tenuous early lead. After gbears16 stole a point with a Vikings victory, the Chargers stood to decide the whole week for both players - and managed to do so by laying an egg! In the closest match of the whole week, cassusriff squeaked by to move into the semifinals.

Finally, the most hotly awaited game of the week came on. Heavyweight groug had spent much of the year dominating the regular season, only to cool down in the final weeks. After watching the Saints beat the Cardinals, he was hoping to mirror their playoff success following a late regular season breakdown. After the Colts won, things were looking up again and he stormed into the final two games of the weekend - only to overrun the mark! LASVEGASNINER pounded him soundly into the ground in the final two games to win in a blowout!

Let's take a look at the new bracket:

When he woke in the woods in the dark and the cold of the night he'd reach out to touch the child sleeping beside him. Nights dark beyond darkness and the days more gray each one than what had gone before.
