I just met Joe Montana!

I'll post my story after the jump.  But maybe this can be a topic for everyone's stories of meeting Niners, if you want to share.

Yesterday my boss came by around noon and said, "Joe Montana's sitting at the bar at RN74 with another guy, and there's no one else in the bar." I took a couple minutes to psych myself up ("Can I do this without being that dork?") then grabbed my poster off the wall, picked up a silver pen at the art store, and went and got this autograph.

Joe was very nice. I shook his hand and said, "Thank you for the hope and joy you've brought to all of us." He smiled and said, "Thank you! I really appreciate it."

I am not a star-struck person by nature.  I have been at parties with movie stars that I didn't care if I met or not.  But the championship teams brought me so much joy, and they really changed the nature of believing in our teams for a lot of us.  I feel as though those guys gave us personal gifts and they're worth acknowledging for it.
