I'll post my story after the jump. But maybe this can be a topic for everyone's stories of meeting Niners, if you want to share.
Joe was very nice. I shook his hand and said, "Thank you for the hope and joy you've brought to all of us." He smiled and said, "Thank you! I really appreciate it."
I am not a star-struck person by nature. I have been at parties with movie stars that I didn't care if I met or not. But the championship teams brought me so much joy, and they really changed the nature of believing in our teams for a lot of us. I feel as though those guys gave us personal gifts and they're worth acknowledging for it.
