The 49ers stadium project will likely be on the Santa Clara ballot for voter approval early this coming summer, and the 49ers and local community leaders are getting things going now to push for passage.

The 49ers are joining various community leaders to host a campaign kick-off rally in support of a new world-class stadium in Santa Clara.  The rally will include local entertainers from Santa Clara, ballpark-style food, speeches from Santa Clara Mayor Patricia Mahan, 49ers Team President Jed York and other community leaders.

The event is open to the public, but for Santa Clara residents only.  It's tomorrow from noon to 2pm in the Mission City Ballroom of the Santa Clara Convention Center.  The convention center is located on 5001 Great American Parkway.
