I still think warner has one more season in him, and although he has taken many hits and has suffered concussions, I don't believe he will retire. I hope he does because then the division is ours for the taking. But what if he doesn't retire and continues playing with the Cardinals?
I still think we will win the division whether he retires or not because we have a good enough team to pull out a few more victories than last year. We beat the Cardinals twice last year and handled their offense pretty well, which was impressive. Hitting and knocking down Warner forced turnovers, and we only allowed 25 points by them. All the critics say that if Warner stays, then the Cardinals will be favorites, and yeah they deserve that. But that doesn't mean they're going to win it. I still say a couple more players added to our offense and defense will take us to the playoffs next year for sure. Our expectations shouldn't change whether he retires or not, and I'm sure Singletary won't let them think the division is ours if Warner retires.
