Smith does have a tendency to almost immediately roll right

How come
the 49ers can play the Vikings and Colts close, but not pull away from the Rams? The inconsistency has to come back to the coaching staff right? This is the most up and down team I have seen, which makes it more frustrating as I think they should be better. It’s also why I have no idea where they will go next year as I don’t know which team willl show up.

Inconsistency

He was a third string blocking TE for a few years.
He had like 3 catches total in his 49ers career, and we let him go in favor of a rookie that didn’t even break the regular season roster. Is there some significance to this “history” that I’m not seeing?

Frank Gore just had his second best season ever
