David Baas - Right Guard?

Once Heitmann is fully recovered and ready to be integrated back into the line, would you guys think that David Baas could slide over to right guard, if Chilo Rachal is still under-performing? Snyder did OK in replacement, but collectively, I think Snyder has received more criticism than Baas has. Baas is doing pretty well at center, and he might be an upgrade at right gaurd over Rachal or Snyder. Or not. What do you guys think?

If my memory serves me correctly

After last year, the consensus was Baas should be dumped because he under-performed at LG. So he learns backup center and he’s the solution at RG? Give Rachal a chance, he’s still trying to gel with a rookie RT. Baas would need to start that coordination from scratch.

The consensus was wrong last year

Still siding with the team decision on this one

Rachal earned the job in training camp and hasn’t had enough game time to lose it.

If you'll recall

I also loudly and defiantly proclaimed that Rachal was a pretty good guard.
