It's Tuesday, I have a short memory and I'm on crack!
So it's been a while and matter of fact, I don't think I'll really put much, if any thought into this post. No editing, no advice from James (yeah, he's the real architect behind me, I'm more of a robot)...just something to toss out there because my mind is racing and I feel like "Tre bein Tre" as Jimmy James would put it.
I said "it's Tuesday and I have a short memory" for a reason. Strangely I'm feeling optimistic, damn-near giddy about the Niners today. What's up with that? I must have forgotten Sunday night, or maybe it's typical "the rest of the story" mindset that tends to come over me/us after we've had a minute to rehash the events.
Anyways more to the point (yeah, there might actually be one...maybe)..."after the jump" I'm going to mindlessly dump some nonsense!
Alex Smith is going to play with more fire, try to make some plays...hopefully he does. I don't know how you change your tendencies in a week but maybe he just has to keep repeating to himself something like:
Big play, Big play, eat it.
What I mean is try to make a play, c'mon! Then if it's not there, run or throw it away or check it down, just be decisive and not afraid to "eat it" too.
So there's one bit of optimism, yeah, I kinda think maybe he'll throw for 300+ yards, 3 TD's and NO TURNOVERS! I know, I'm really crazy (maybe that's why my hands typed "I'm on crack" above?!?)
I'm also hoping that we get to see some diversity of plays and formations. I hope we get to see more of Westbrook and maybe even Dixon too. I know Frank is everything (sigh) but let me pose this to you:
If Alex and the players are playing too "tentative" and "not to lose" and "scared"...what about the coaches being "afraid" to take Frank Gore out of the game?!? Take some shots, put another guy in there, put two of them in there, put 6 of them in there...let's try something!
I also hope to see Dominique Zeigler own some Raider fool DB's on Sunday. Yeah, "who's he?" ZEIGLER BIZZLE!
He's tall, he runs good routes, good attitude, all he does is catch the damn ball! Keep him in the game more and for the love of Pete (who's "Pete" anyways?) THROW HIM THE BALL!
Beyond that I'm hoping the defense get's a memo that tackling is LEGAL in the NFL, maybe give them some twinkies if they do it IN THE OPEN FIELD!
Oh yeah, and Ahmad Brooks and Travis LaBoy combine for 5 sacks in this game...
Or, we lose.
Bye!

It'll be hard for Smith not to have his best game of the season
Trust me, learning english isn’t a waste of time. It is actually sort of useful.

Seriously
OH NO! DON’T TAKE FRANK OUT OF THE GAME! WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN!
give me a freaking break. Do you think when Shonn Greene comes in the game he’s the PERFECT back for the play they’re calling? Don’t they throw him the ball? Is he better than LT as a receiver? NO! Hell Moran Norris get’s the ball at times and we all know THAT’S not a good idea.
Save some tread on Frank’s tires and get the other guys in the game. Why in the world did we sign Brian Westbrook anyways? As a backup? He’s nothing like Gore so that idea is out. I’m starting to think it was a knee-jerk reaction to the Coffee thing and nobody put much thought into it.
This team needs some real leadership from it's players.

Also
David Cara and Troy Smith should both stand by the coach the whole game with their helmets on. Sing should talk to them a lot too, in between plays, point at the field and talk to them.
Then go no huddle a lot, 5 WR’s, let Vernon throw a pass…we gotta shake it up man.
This team needs some real leadership from it's players.

they can talk about whatever they want
as long as they’re pointing at the field and and some papers and putting headsets on and what-not

By the way
the poll question:
I take a shower today
that means ME, not YOU

Dominique Zeigler hates each and every one of you

there are 4 votes for Ziggy now
so I suppose he doesn’t hate ALL of you…

I've been calling his number since I claimed after our first game that he could be a #1.
I might have over-stated then but I still think he should start next to Crabtree, who I’m less down on than I was before.
I've been a Ziggy fan since this

"All during film, I'm calling him Bam-Bam, like from 'The Flintstones,' because he hits everything. He is the truth" - Chad Ochocinco on Patrick Willis
Wish I could vote for all of the above
Alex has his best game of the season while turning the ball over 2-3 times (I’m just gonna get used to that) and Zeigler jump catching the winning TD in the end zone. Then we will all take a shower because we just wet ourselves with the excitement of our first win.
For the record
I DID take a shower today but I didn’t wash…not sure if that counts…there might be a hanging chad…or maybe it’s because I didn’t wash it off…
This team needs some real leadership from it's players.

He'll have his best game...
But it won’t matter to the Alex haters. The next 7 games will be easy to sweep under the rug of “Crappy Teams”, and they won’t be convinced until… we win the Super Bowl? Maybe just one playoff game?
It’s really hard to tell why everyone is ready to jump off that ledge- we have not played crappy teams (save for the seahacks, who would have bottled farts of 49ers and sent them to the lab for analysis if they could).
But God help Prince Alex if the team does not win all seven of the next games.
49er 'til I die! (if they don't kill me first)
Pete
Pete is the really loud guy that was trying to sell me a car today

Smith's Qb rating in the Redzone is off the chart's ...
… so we let Westbrooke run the Wild-brooke , until we enter the Smith-zone , insert him there and ( BINGO ) … Niner’s 63 – Raider’s 3 …GO NINER’S …!!
I'm your " Huckelberry "...it's just my game ...Jimmy Raye your no daisy ...!!
if I thought they had really practiced the wildcat enough
I wouldn’t be opposed to using it more…as it is though, it scares the crap out of me
