My son was born on September 16, 2010. In the weeks leading up to his delivery, like any good sports dad I purchased some paraphernalia. (The newborn sized onesies would have taken 8 weeks to get here... so I had to settle for some bibs and I'll wait patiently for him to fit into his 3 month sized outfits.)
The above picture was taken during his very first ever Monday Night Football game. He was very unhappy with the halftime results (but was pleasantly sleeping through the end tragedy). The picture I have from the Sunday evening game shows him sound asleep showing utter disinterest.
I talked to my brother about this and then we remembered... the Niners sucked in 1978 when I was born too. So I told my son, three more years and we can expect a Super Bowl!
