Week 5 Analysis

How bout them Cardinals? I think the average prediction had the New Orleans Saints winning 61-3. How bout them 49ers leading their fans off a cliff?. I'm guessing most picked the 49ers thinking there was no way they were going to drop to lowly 0-5? Ok I kid, this prediction group doesn't lack the cojones seeing many took the road traveling Rams, Chiefs and Bucs. If only 2009 could see us now.

The Week's Big 5 Prognosticators

ZeroIndulgence - Sniped me by a point. Actually the first time I ran the scores I came in first. I had to double check because of this whole vs instead @ stuff with 49ers games and this yahoo crept in. I keep checking, keeping hoping for a correction but ZeroIndulgence remains on top. GOOD DAY TO YOU SIR!

bignerd - Believed in the Cardinals and sold on the 49ers. It paid to be an awful, faithless fan ... thank you. No need to assign myself a few bogus points this week I did it the real way.

bayarearep94 - I've seen this name up here before, last week if I recall. Had to go look him (her?) up. He only comments on game threads and prediction contests. Which means he actually likes hanging out with his friends/family or he's a degenerate gambler? Place your bets.

Drew K - Our own resident draft guru and accused armchair psychologist delivered two first place predictions knowing how to bet against Missouri football teams. Comes full circle seeing how the state of Missouri has had a monopoly on top draft picks the last few seasons. Waiting to see how he predicts Raiders games.

Haggardninja - Not a typo. The worn, exhausted and at one time distraught ninja hung in through a couple bad weeks and is rewarded with a top 5 performance. Good job ninja. Could you rub that resolve onto the 49ers?

We have a new leader in howtheyscored with his whopping 2 point weekend. rlott#42 goose egg drops him to 2nd. DuikeBuike manages a point but hangs onto 3rd.
