So we're about halfway through the season now and I was just wondering who do you guys think has earned a new contract so far?  Of course we still have another half season to go but according to current performance who should definitely walk and who should we attempt to resign or extend?  So far Dashon is the biggest standout in terms of GOODBYE NICE KNOWING YOU and I'd say AF hasn't been terrible but could definitely play better.  Only person so far that I would say that has a chance of an extension is Manny Lawson and Alex Smith.  Lawson has made some critical plays and if he keeps it up and asks for a reasonable amount, I say keep him.  Smith on the other hand needs to be resigned because we have no other option and also I believe we need Smith around to help out whoever our new QBoTF might be.  Off topic thought but I think one of the biggest problems with A. Smith was he hasn't really had a solid vet to look up to.  This year we should have brought in someone who could teach Smith something or two but instead we brought in Carr.  Anyway back to the post, who do you think has earned a contract/extension?
