Start fast finish strong
Yeah, we just played probably one of the worst teams in the league in the Cardinals, but our mentality was right, score quickly and often, and finish strong. Most of our losses have been us getting down early, and fighting back, which we are not built to do, and we HAVE to do that against Green Bay. I don't mind going down 3-0, but a touchdown or more lead early on, we're doomed, especially without gore. Green Bay doesn't scare me a whole lot, as long as we can limit the big plays which we didn't do last year when we came to Lambeau. I think we have to take a couple deep shots early on to keep the Packers honest, as long as we have protection, big plays can open it up for Westbrook to get 5-6 yards a carry. I'm not expecting playoffs out of this team, but a win here, and it can go a LONG way especially with Seattle coming to town in a couple weeks, so this may be our season on the line. It was nice to see that Westbrook still has some agility and quickness, so we can use that along with Dixon's power running. A fast start, and we can be looking at a big road victory, though unlikely, but going down early will only result in ultimately getting demolished or another heartbreaker.
(Yeah i said "we" as in the niners, sorry it's a habit when i talk about the niners)

Lets hope the 49ers win
Green Bay, where 49ers seasons go to die.
"Coach, it came down like a hail marry"
Agreed
We can’t get down by any large margin against the Packers. If we do, they will just onslaught us with their offense and it won’t be pretty. I think this is where being effective running the ball can be good against the packers, if we score. If we don’t score, well you can’t win with 0 points.
