Week 8 Prediction Games: MPotter and the Oracle Tablet

You probably read the headline and realized I wasn't referring to you, me too. Unlike boy wonder, I didn't exactly light up the scoreboard this week.  I wish I could find solace in the misfortune of others but not a lot of misfortune to tap into, most did well.  Like buying tech stock in the 90's well.  Reference probably won't resonate because most of you were probably conceived in the 90's.  It was a good time for a lot of people, except me so lets get this over with and see how many people jumped me in the scoreboard.

Week 8 results are in!  Don't get nervous if you think you didn't do well cause we got TARP points galore.

Week 8 Analysis

No perfect picks but a lot of high scores and a lot of solid point totals. Considering the number of complaints on the prediction thread I think those complainers made out well.

The Week's Big 5 Prognosticators

mpotter14 - I hope his last name is Potter and not a reference to wizardry. I'll give him the pass from ridicule because he put together arguably the most dominant week of the season. Best or 2nd best predictor in four games over the weekend.

David Fucillo (Fooch) - He either switched Ninerfromacrossthepond's picks or solicited advice from London9er. I've been wanting to describe Fooch's predictions as the Foochdoza Line for a long time but was seriously worried the accuracy of the statement would yield the ban hammer. 13 points! Both a career high and the start of a government investigation.

illini49er - I like the way this name rolls of the tongue, it's smooth, it's sharp. I noticed mixing the college name with the pro team is popular trend around here. Why not add in the high school team too? JeffersonIllini49er, UCLABR49erCougar, maybe when SBN has a shortage of screen names. I've seen this one name StJosephChurchSomeNameIsSuperFreakingLongElmosFireIDidThisToAnnoyYouGodStopThis

whobob - This is your last warning whobob. Three strikes on my list and you are out. IT'S WEEK 8! I cannot come up with new material now. Really, I got to do this dance possibly three more times with you? Bob you are a narcissist, I know you already know this.

SanFranciscoKnights & Snitzel - Former Sacramento Knights? Do people call you Snitz? Congrats and good job in blocking each other's glory, see Nash Equilibrium ... striz out.
