Fooch's Note: For the first time in what I'd have imagine is a long time, Alex Smith has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the week. I'm sure Brady or Manning will win, but you can vote as frequently as you want so why not stuff the ballot box for Alex?

Don't forget to vote.  This might be the last time this season that any 49er will even be considered.  I know Alex is going into some stiff competition, Manning and Brady, but he has a legitimate case for him.  I think his game was a lot better than Manning's.  Brady not so much, but who cares!!!  This is our chance to show our team pride to the whole nation.  I think regardless of how you feel about Alex, you should vote to support the team.
