Golden Nuggets: Merciful Football Gods

Good morning folks, it's Sunday and quite mercifully, we don't have anything to worry about as far as our 49ers are concerned. 'Course, with my luck, something bad will happen regarding the team today even if they don't play. I'll be watching a couple games to day, switching back and forth with no real stock in any of them, save technically for two that I will not be monitoring at all. I'm in a big hurry right now and Fooch might actually be adding some more links in after I schedule this, but it's 10:00 p.m. right now so let's see what we have. Enjoy, folks.

Well, that sucks. Travis LaBoy was placed on injured reserve along with Joe Nedney. I wonder if Nedney will be back next season ... I actually hope not. As for LaBoy, I don't think he's the answer at OLB. (CSNBayArea.com)

The 49ers sorely need help in their secondary. They'll need to get a cornerback in the first two rounds of the 2011 draft. Preferably in the first. (PressDemocrat.com)

We probably need a new coach. It's almost a certainty at this point, and the 49ers better have a good plan regarding that. Can't afford to sit on a decision like Singletary is doing with the quarterback situation. (MercuryNews.com)

Almost hilariously, here's some more grades for Thursday's game. (MercuryNews.com)

Fooch Additions: There isn't a lot of 49ers talk this weekend aside from the IR moves, so here are some NFC West related links given the importance of today's games.
