Jed York searches for another Scapegoat

Why did Jed York state that his team would "WIN THE DIVISION" when they were 0-5? What kind of stupid media stunt was that? Back earlier in the season, it is now obvious Jed York was setting Coach Singletary as a scapegoat to take the blame for the lack of opportunity the York ownership is responsible for.

Imagine if Scot McCloughan was still here-- but you can't because Scot was too smart to stay here and suffer the same fate as Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary. It's funny that Scot McCloughan ended up with Seattle Seahawks after he cited "personal issues" he needed to clear up-- wow, that was fast... seems like all of McCloughan's problems evaporated when the Seahawks hired him and he seems to be doing fine now. Scot McCloughan was smart to leave the 49ers, because now he doesn't have to be fired along with Mike Singletary. Scot McCloughan's repudiation is still intact and and he still has a job. It is all too clear now as hindsight has now materialized at this point of the ill-fated 49ers 2010 season.

I read the various blogs and comments on this board. People's mouths are watering for a great head coach like Jon Gruden or Brian Billick to take a suicide mission-- keep dreaming. More than likely, a head coach with no NFL experience-- like Jim Harbargh-- will volunteer himself since he has nothing better going.

Mike Singletary gave it his best shot and I still admire him for trying here. Unfortunately, it is like trying to grow vegetables in the Mojave desert with 100+ degree temperature with no water.

This once great franchise is a death trap for all players and coaches that enter here. Don't blame the players or the coaches for the lack of opportunity the Yorks want to cover up and hide from you.
