McShay is an idiot
He had Andre Woodson, a QB that was picked in the 6th round, as a 1st round QB.

5. Kansas City Chiefs Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
6. Seattle Seahawks Bryan Bulaga*, OT, Iowa

31. Indianapolis Colts Maurkice Pouncey, OL, Florida
32. New Orleans Saints Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri
JPP going 3rd overall and McCoy going over Suh just shows you that McShay is the worst mainstream draft analyst
1.Trent Williams 1.Brandon Graham 2. Syd Thompson 3.Torell Troup 4.Andrew Quarless 5.John Jerry 6.Mike Kafka 7.Quinton Andrews 7.Preston Parker
There is so much wrong with this that I don't even know where to start.
I’m now certain that he just releases random mock drafts to piss people off.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

+1
Although I don’t agree, I thought his justification for McCoy over Suh made some sense. However, dropping Berry to 7 behind Bulaga was sheer idiocy, and I don’t think he has idea on what the Niners need.
Tom will never be as cool as Joe
I can’t believe he had Bulaga going so high

He sees the same thing in Bulaga that I do
He could be the best lineman in the entire draft.

McShay knows more than you, believe it!
Why are people calling him the worst mainstream draft analyst? Lets not forget that Reggie Bush was a LOCK at the #1 pick, but what really happened. Last year DE Tyson Jackson was picked 3rd overall by the Chiefs, no one saw that comming. What about DHB going to Oakland in front of Crabtree? There is no guarantee that Suh will be better than McCoy. The Texans believed that Mario Williams was a better pick for them than Bush. So call McShay waht you want, but have an open mind when it comes to the NFL draft. Anything can happen, just ask Al Davis!
I doubt it.
This guy has a terrible track record.
Who saw Tyson Jackson being picked No.3 overall?
Quite a few people, actually. Mayock mentioned it, the guy on walterfootball.com had him at no.3 once too.
Who saw the Raiders taking DHB?
A lot of people. After the combine a lot of people were mocking DHB to the Raiders.
(the walterfootball.com guy had the raiders taking DHB in his final mock)
I wish someone would archive these mocks so we could look back and see how badly McShay did.

Nate's moonlighting already
Because that 34.67 could look frighteningly similar to his completion percentage if we let him anywhere near a football without a couple more seasons of grooming.

Are those the final mocks though?
I’m talking about all the ridiculous Mock Drafts he releases before the final update.

I will bet you all the coffee beans in Brazil that Jimmy Clausen goes in the 1st round
1.Trent Williams 1.Brandon Graham 2. Syd Thompson 3.Torell Troup 4.Andrew Quarless 5.John Jerry 6.Mike Kafka 7.Quinton Andrews 7.Preston Parker
Question: Who is the fastest player in this year's draft?
Al Davis’s answer: Trent Williams (OT)!
wait…
How many mocks had DHB going in front of Crabtree?
Some Mocks had DHB going to OAK, but that was after Crabs was off the board, no one had him being picked infront of Crabtree. All I’m saying is that the draft is unpredictable.
i remember hearing tons of noise about the raiders taking bey. but no one thought he would slip to the niners even if they didnt take him...
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
walterfootball.com
They had DHB going No.7 to the Raiders with Crabtree on the board.

Iupati
I found it odd that McShay has the Niners taking Iupati in the first when he specifically told Matt Barrows of the Sac. Bee that Iupati would be a reach at either of the Niners first round picks. If he thinks that it is a reach why would he put it in a Mock Draft? Then it dawned on me this morning. McShay has us drafting Iupati because Matt Barrows specifically asked him about the prospects of the Niners taking Iupati in the first round, and maybe he thinks Barrows has a better handle on the direction the team will go. Perhaps an interesting insight into how McShay puts these mocks together.
Tom will never be as cool as Joe
Anthony Davis over Okung?
I’ve heard everywhere that Okung was indisputably the best OT in the draft….
This draft seems pretty suspect all around.
The Combine
I have heard some rumblings on the internet that some draft experts believe Davis will overtake Okung after the Combine becuase is a better athlete. Sorry I don’t have a link for it though.
Tom will never be as cool as Joe
No No No.
Davis looks stronger and like a mauler, but Okung is the best tackle. He is has some of the best feet for a lineman and he can equally pass protect and run block really well. He looks like a faster D’Brickshaw Ferguson.
The Ultimate Realistic Mock Draft
1A) Anthony Davis - RT Rutgers
1B) C.J. Spiller - RB/KR/PR Clemson
2) Kareem Jackson - CB Alabama
3) Demaryius Thomas - WR Georgia Tech
4) Mike Johnson - OG Alabama
5) Sean Canfield - QB Oregon State
6) Keaton Kristic - OLB Oregon State
7) Dexter Davis - OLB/DE Arizona State
although some picks hard to imagine...
I like those two picks… Haden and Iupati… although I would prefer CJ Spiller and Iupati, Haden would help the secondary in a few years or as a nickel back
Joe and Steve were under the same system for years... don't expect Smith to be super so soon.
I meant: although some picks are hard to imagine...
thinking too fast…
