100 in 100: Sergio Kindle (38 of 100)
Sergio Kindle has been noted as one of the top prospects entering the 2010 NFL Draft. Despite some off-field problems, Kindle has really seemed to pull things together.
His ability on the field didn't really blossom until his Junior year. Kindle managed to rack up 10 Sacks that year helping to boast the Texas front seven as one of the best in the Nation. His performance dipped a bit this year but it was more due to drawing double-teams than an actual drop in performance. The Senior defensive end could possibly be converted to an Outside Linebacker once he hits the NFL but there is also the possibility of him staying at Defensive End depending on what kind of defense he gets drafted to. There's also the slight possibility that he could play a hybrid position and do both. All in all Kindle has some true potential and upside to make a name for himself at the next level.
Below we'll look at some highlights, stats, and I'll provide a projection on where Kindle could be drafted in this years draft.
This video encompasses quite a bit of what Kindle is capable of. There are some things that Kindle will need to develop at the next level but overall, he will more than likely be an instant contributor.

SUMMARY AND PROJECTIONS:
A tricky one to predict here. I think alot of when and where Kindle will be drafted will be influenced by the outcome of how he performs at the NFL Scouting Combine beginning on February 25th. This will be one of those players that makes or breaks his stock in specific events. I believe that he will perform up to par and will be drafted in the late 1st Round but the unknown is still always the unknown and anything can happen. Kindle is 6'4" and roughly 255 LBS.
Possibilities -- 1st Round: Picks 20-32, 2nd Round: Picks 33-49

3-4 OLB....
That’s where he fits.
Baltimore or New England is where I see him going. Learning from a guy like Ray Lewis would really do wonders for him.
Work ethic...passion for the game....
Being in a veteran locker room that will push him is what he needs. Just watching him at UT, he needs someone to push him.
Being in the right spot, adjusting before the snap,
reading the plays and the QBs eyes/tendencies.
Dream Draft: Clausen, Brown (#24), Houston, McKnight, Mike Williams, Black, McManis, DTN.
New England might be a good fit
if they don’t go after Peppers. Ray lewis would be a great influence on any LB, however with Lewis being an ILB there might be a limit as to how much he could help. I don’t think we should gamble on him.
I've seen...
a few mocks with the Niners taking Kindle with the #16/17 pick. Needless to say that would be a waste.

I think he'll end up going in the first too
Yes Drew K, Tim Tebow will probably get picked in the first round.
id take him
plus him and crabby go way back and were on rival high school football teams. and there buddy anthony randolph plays for the warriors. bring sergio to the bay area with all his buddies. haha
It's just a plant, it grows in the earth, and if you happen to set it on fire there are some effects...
I'm pretty sure he already has experience playing standing up.
I’ve seen him rush the passer from the OLB position quite a few times.
What we've got here is a failure to communicate.
we opted out and gave up our pick
when we could of and alot of mock drafts had us getting brian orakpo and got coffee and 1rd pick from carolina how many sacks did he hace 4 washington about 9 or 10 sacks and i steal hear people saying draft spiller draft D-L with one of those 1rd picks or jason pierre -paul or derrick morgan or grab jullius peppers but sergio okindle is my favorite i’m a big texas fan .
