Around SBN: Chauncey Billups Injures Achilles Tendon

"If I knew that we were going to go through five offensive coordinators in his first five years, I never would have had us take Alex, it hasn't been fair to him or the team."

My favorite part:
ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay had some serious criticism of Skelton’s work habits.

"I have no idea where that came from," Skelton said. "I didn’t even hear it, but my family did and they were pretty upset."

Fischer, who trains with the likes of Donovan McNabb(notes), pitcher Kerry Wood and numerous other top athletes, was equally bewildered: "I saw that and I was thinking, ‘Are you kidding me? Are you just trying to fill time?’ "

LMAO

What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

I'd like to

hear this guy’s response to Alex Smith if he is a good QB in 2010. Or if the Niners win a playoff game in 2010. Or if Smith puts up respectable numbers.

He's not saying that Alex Smith is a bad QB

He’s just saying that the 49ers didn’t handle the situation well.

You disagree?

He says the Niners didn’t handle him well, which is true, but he has improved with every season he had played. And his the 2010 starter. I don’t know what the writer was trying to prove, maybe it was a slow day.

Hey guys ...

Consider the source! Jason Cole is an idiot! Almost any one of us knows infinitely more about pro football than he does. Read a few of his columns and I’m sure that you’ll never do it again.

Most of the Yahoo sports writers aren’t gifted with intelligence.

very goooood article by jason cole

totally agree with his artile whats crazy going into the combine the niners was sweet on rogers and then it just switched up after the combine what’s crazy is rogers played in more of a pro-set under center but now that’s water under the bridge alex will be very good this next season that’s a promise.

wow idiot strong words

but he was’nt wrong the niners didn’t have know talent around alex i don’t think they looked into alex being a shotgun quarteback when they rogers in there own back yard DRIVING DISTANCE they thought hosteler could just come run the offense that did’nt work and then nolan went out of his way 2 alienate his QB threw the media and question his toughness and put him behind a HORRIBLE line.

None of those posts made any sense.
